Your Family’s
Health & Safety
is Our #1 Priority
Our COVID-19 Safety Procedures
While we absolutely love laughing, playing and teaching your kids, we know that our primary responsibility is to keep your kids SAFE! To do so, we monitor the daily guidance provided by the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC), our local Health Departments, and our Licensing Agencies. Additionally, we’ve been actively engaged with a national child care think tank to share best practices across the country. Now more than ever, we remain committed to our mission to give your family a SAFE place for your child to laugh, learn and grow!
Our Response to COVID-19
While we continue to improve our systems as new information is provided, the information below demonstrates the current steps we are taking to keep our facilities as safe as they can be.
Before every Visit, each child, staff member and visitor must pass a Daily Health Screening. Each person is asked a series of questions and has their temperature taken, and are only able to enter if they pass the screening. The Health Screening is updated regularly as recommendations from the CDC change.

HEALTH SCREENING

PREVENTION POLICIES
Children are observed throughout the day for signs of illness. We train out staff on health and safety steps to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Any person who has had contact with someone with COVID-19 must self-quarantine for 14 days prior to returning to Children On Board Education Center. We follow a strict COVID-19 Attendance Policy which lets children staff and visitors know when they can return.

CLEANING &
SANITIZING
We clean the building throughout the day with a special focus on high-touch areas. We do not share toys between groups and we disinfect any toy that comes in contact with body fluid. We sue spray disinfectant for our playgrounds after every play session. We use sanitation foggers to disinfect classrooms and deep clean nightly.

HEALTHY HABITS
We educate our kids about how germs spread and teach healthy habits such as sneezing or coughing into a tissue or your elbow if no tissues are available. We wash our hands for 20 seconds MANY times during the day including upon arrival, at meal times, before/after going outside, before/after naps and after every classroom transition. Our Health Screening & Escort team wear mask.
